Isn't that cool? That's a comment left by a reader on my recent post about learning Hindi. It says, "aapkii likhaavat acchii hai" - "your writing is good" - which is nice to know.
(If it doesn't look like beautiful devanagari to you, and just appears as boxes or control characters, than you aren't using a browser that has a full range of unicode fonts installed, as IE and Firefox seem to by default these days.)
I don't know how to type such text myself - I suspect that it would be rather tedious with my American keyboard, as I'd have to enter the unicode for each character separately, or else apply some keyboard mapping that would be difficult for me to use. If I get a chance to figure it out (unlikely), you faithful GOAT readers will be the first to know. Until then, if you'd like to stare at some more lovely devanagari, have a look at BBC-Hindi, or at the blog of the fellow who left me the nice comment.
